What stays on your device

Sunclub stores your applications, SPF, coverage, notes, sunscreen profile, reminders, check-ins, preferences, and recovery history to run the features you use. We do not sell your history or track you across apps.

iCloud is optional

Where supported, private iCloud sync is on by default and can be paused in Settings. Synced history uses your private iCloud database; the developer cannot read it. You can use Sunclub offline.

Permissions you choose

Location supports Apple Weather forecasts and optional leave-home check-ins. You can choose a city for weather instead. Background location is needed only for Home monitoring.

Notifications support local reminders. Apple Health is optional and uses the access you grant. Change permissions in Apple settings.

Shortcuts and links use separate controls for writing, opening screens, and returning result details. Automation permissions.

Weather data

Apple Weather uses your chosen location or city coordinates for forecasts. Sunclub caches forecasts and labels local estimates when a forecast is unavailable. UV sources and freshness.

Backups and deletion

Export and import backups in Settings. Backups contain private history and preferences, including automation choices. Imports restore locally; publishing them to iCloud is a separate action.

Removing Sunclub deletes local app data. Synced history may remain in iCloud and restore on reinstall; manage that data in Apple’s iCloud settings.
